Demi Lovato Pens Cryptic Tweet Amid Wilmer Valderrama-Minka Kelly Dating Rumors

“Cool For the Summer” singer Demi Lovato posted a cryptic tweet amid rumors her ex-boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, is dating Minka Kelly. They previously dated four years ago.

As the gossip about Valderrama’s possible new lover swirled, Lovato wrote a mysterious message on her official Twitter account Thursday: “You have to be capable of being honest with yourself before you can get honest with other people.” At the time this article was written, the post was liked more than 27,000 times and shared more than 18,000 times by her 38 million followers.

She wrote the note the day after Kelly and Valderrama had dinner at Palms Thai restaurant in Hollywood. “They sat across from each other and it was just the two of them. I didn't personally see if they were holding hands or if they were being affectionate, but it looked like a date. They looked casual and relaxed,” a source told E! Online Thursday. “Yes, Wilmer was a gentleman and picked up the tab to pay for their food.”

Valderrama dated Lovato on and off for nearly six years. In June, they called off their relationship for good. “This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends,” they said in a joint statement. “We will always be supportive of one another. Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years.”

While it seems like Lovato’s tweet could’ve been about Valderrama, it also could have been directed at UFC superstar Luke Rockhold. The two have reportedly been dating for a few months. They met while she was training at Unbreakable gym in Los Angeles in early 2016. They possibly got matching tattoos together, too! They’re simple happy faces on their pinky fingers.
