Demi Moore-Ashton Kutcher Heading for Divorce? Moore Consults Attorney
Latest developments in the ongoing saga that is the Demi Moore-Ashton Kutcher breakup indicate Moore, 48, has apparently had enough of Kutcher, 33, and his allegedly philandering ways. The Hollywood diva has reportedly consulted a divorce attorney.
This is the second time rumors have surfaced over Kutcher's fidelity to his wife. The first was when he reportedly had an affair with Brittney Jones, 22. Kutcher took strong exception to those rumors, threatening to sue The National Enquirer for publishing a story about them. However, there seemed to be no adverse impact on his marriage with Moore at that time.
Unfortunately, fresh rumors about Kutcher's purported dalliance with Sara Leal, 23, on the eve of his sixth wedding anniversary surfaced recently. Kutcher took to Twitter to fight them off.
In addition to those rumors, Celebrity Newz reported Kutcher moved out of the Moore-Kutcher residence early last month because his wife was having substance abuse problems. Meanwhile, one of Moore's friends was quoted by Life & Style as saying that Moore was indeed battling such problems, and the decision to move out was entirely Kutcher's.
Demi had been sober for a long time -- decades -- but recently it's gotten bad, Moore's friend told Life & Style, Ashton loves her, but he can't stick around and watch her do this to herself.
Her daughters, Scout, Rumer, and Tallulah, and her ex-husband Bruce Willis want her to be healthy, the friend said. The whole family is taking a stand to help Demi.
Returning to the question of a possible divorce, Earsucker quoted an insider as suggesting that Moore had been totally humiliated.
On Friday, therefor[e], she consulted a lawyer about getting a divorce, said the insider.
The discussion included her living arrangements and how a divorce would impact her assets, said the source, according to another report in the Daily Mail. Moore and Kutcher are believed to have a net worth of approximately $300 million together and do not have children from their marriage.
