Democratic Debate Drinking Game 2016: Best Rules For When To Sip, Gulp And Guzzle During MSNBC Showdown
Let’s face it, watching political debates can sometimes need to be spiced up a bit to keep the attention of those watching on TV. One way to make viewing politics at work more interesting is with alcohol. We’ve created a game that involves both beer and liquor, so anyone who has to work the following day should prepare accordingly. While former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders duke it out on MSNBC, viewers can get strategically imbibe beer and liquor.
Take a sip of beer if:
- Sanders talks about the 99 percent
- Sanders raises his voice, or enthusiastically waves his hands
- Insults are hurled at either candidate
- Either candidate talks about Thursday’s debate possibly not happening
- Gov. Martin O’Malley of Maryland comes up
- The Iowa caucus is mentioned
- Clinton flashes a fake smile
- Someone talks after their time is up
- Sanders’ hair looks wild
Take a gulp of beer if:
- Someone defends President Barack Obama
- Clinton tries to explain why she’s trustworthy
- Those “damn emails” come back up for discussion
- Clinton talks about being a grandmother
- Either candidate slams Republican candidate Donald Trump
- Someone dances around a question
Take a shot if:
- Clinton talks about possibly being the first female president
- Sanders talks about socialism
- Someone says “middle class”
- Former President Bill Clinton is mentioned
- Millennials are discussed
- You don’t know what’s going on
