At the end of the deadly battle, when it appears the Sound Hashira Tengen and his Demon Slayers have defeated the Upper Six, Gyutaro releases his Blood Blades in a massive explosion.

The magnitude of Gyutaro’s final attack is such that it engulfs Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Tengen, and the entire Yoshiwara entertainment district.

The cast of the anime includes Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro Kamado, Akari Kito as Nezuko Kamado, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke Hashibira, Katsuyuki Konishi as Tengen Uzui, Miyuki Sawashiro as Denki (Upper Six), Shizuka Ishigami as Makio, Atsumi Tanezaki as Hinatsuru, Ryota Osaka as Gyutaro and Nao Toyama as Suma.

The opening theme of the anime is titled "Zankyosanka" and is performed by Aimer. The ending theme, titled "Asa ga kuru," is also performed by Aimer.
