'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba' Season 3 Spoilers: Swordsmith Village Arc’s Promo Released

A new mission is about to begin featuring the Mist Hashira and Love Hashira. The latest adventure is set in the Swordsmith Village.

The official Twitter account of the anime franchise has shared a new promo trailer of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba" Season 3 – Swordsmith Village Arc.

The trailer’s first half revolves mostly around the previous arcs and the second half unrolls a new scroll signifying the beginning of a brand-new adventure with Love Hashira and Mist Hashira joining Tanjiro Kamado and the others.

Swordsmith Village Arc follows Tanjiro, who is heading to the village to replace his existing sword as Hotaru Haganezuka cannot repair it anymore.

Upon reaching the village, he is taken to Tecchin Tecchikawahara, who is the head of the Swordsmith Village. He tells Tanjiro that Hotaru’s current whereabouts remain unknown.

Later, Tecchin takes him to the hot springs to heal his body. Tanjiro meets with Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, who informs him about a secret weapon hidden somewhere in the Swordsmith Village.

“It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself," read the official synopsis of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" series.

"Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a 'demon slayer' so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family. A sorrowful tale of siblings in which the fates of humans and demons intertwine… begins now!" it continued.

The cast of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc" anime includes Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro Kamado, Akari Kitou as Nezuko Kamado, Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke Hashibira, Kengo Kawanishi as Muichiro Tokito and Kana Hanazawa as Mitsuri Kanroji.

The original story of the anime is by Koyoharu Gotoge and was first serialized in Shueisha’s Jump Comics. The Swordsmith Village Arc is directed by Haruo Sotozaki. Akira Matsushima is credited as the character designer and chief animation director. The upcoming arc is produced by ufotable.
