'Demon Slayer' Season 3 News: Ufotable Drops New Key Visual, Teases Major Season 3 Announcement

Ufotable, the Japanese animation studio behind the hit TV and the movie adaptation of the popular manga "Demon Slayer" hyped fans with a new key visual and a major announcement for the TV adaptation's upcoming series.
After the explosive conclusion of the Entertainment District arc in "Kimetsu no Yaiba" Season 2, the Swordsmith Village arc is the next plot the TV adaptation will feature in its third season. Ufotable recently shared a new key visual of the series, which featured Tanjiro and other key characters in the series, as well as the infamous Mugen or Infinity Train.
The Japanese animation studio, through its Twitter account also teased the fandom that it will make a major announcement about "Demon Slayer" Season 3 on December 10 on Fuji TV. The special broadcast will feature a promotional video for the anime's third season, according to the tweet.
The special broadcast will start with the first episode of the TV anime "Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinite Train Edition." At 7 p.m. (Japan time) the theatrical version of "Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinite Train Edition" will air, according to the official website of the event.
Ufotable further announced that "at the end of the special broadcast, we are planning to broadcast a PV that announces the latest information on the new series "Swordsmith's Village" which has been announced to be made into a TV animation."Unfortunately, the Japanese animation studio did not mention the type of information that would be revealed about the third season but fans are hopeful that it would be its release date.
"Demon Slayer" Season 3 is expected to introduce two new hashiras who are next to receive the spotlight after the Sound hashira Tengen and the Flame Hashira Rengoku. Fans will see the Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and the Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji in the upcoming season although both have made their brief appearances in Season 1 and Season 2 of the anime.
Ufotable has not yet revealed the official release date of "Demon Slayer" Season 3 but based on its release pattern, it looks like fans will have to wait a little longer before they could finally see the TV adaptation of the Swordsmith Village arc. The first and second seasons have more than two years gap and it is possible that the team would do the same for the upcoming season.
In February, Ufotable confirmed that the third season was in production.
