Deputies Respond To 'Cry For Help', Victim Turns Out To Be A Parrot
Florida police responded to a 911 call and were amused to find it was triggered by a parrot's shrill cries.
“Let me out! Let me out! Ohhh! Ohhh! Ohhh!” A neighbor of the parrot’s owner called the cops after hearing the eerie squeal. He was, however, surprised to know that it came from his neighbor’s 40-year-old parrot called Rambo.
Four Palm Beach County Sheriff’s deputies reached the place and approached the owner while he was repairing a car in his driveway. When they told him about the 911 call, the man went inside and returned with the parrot, leaving them in stitches.
The incident happened in Lake Worth Beach area on Dec. 29, the Palm Beach Post reported. The exact location or the identities of the individuals involved were revealed, except a video posted online on Jan. 3.
The PSBO (Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office) shared the video of the incident on Twitter.
The man told cops that he taught Rambo to scream for help.
