Derek Jeter Wedding? Marriage Rumors Abound As MLB Legend Plans Secret Party At Oheka Castle: Report

Just-retired baseball legend Derek Jeter may have a secret wedding planned for this weekend, according to a report. The 40-year-old shortstop, who has dated Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Hannah Davis since 2012, is hosting a party at a famous Long Island wedding venue, leading to speculation that the pair is getting married.

“Several high-end party vendors” were told to prepare for an unexplained “Derek Jeter event” at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York, sources familiar with the situation told TMZ Sports. But the gossip site received conflicting accounts of what will be celebrated there.

Some sources claim that Jeter is merely hosting a retirement party – he played his last MLB game on Sept. 28 against the Boston Red Sox. But other sources told TMZ Sports that the party at Oheka Castle is a wedding.

Neither Jeter nor his representatives have addressed the marriage rumors. Moreover, neither Jeter nor Davis has even acknowledged an engagement in the past, let alone a wedding.

But this isn’t the first time that Jeter and Davis’ relationship has drawn scrutiny. In August 2013, Davis was spotted leaving a Manhattan Starbucks with what appeared to be a diamond engagement ring on her finger, the New York Daily News reported. Jeter was spotted with Davis and her parents at a West Village restaurant in April, leading to speculation that their relationship was getting serious.

Aside from his myriad accomplishments on the baseball field, Jeter has dated many of the world’s most successful and beautiful women. During his career, he was linked to Minka Kelly, Mariah Carey, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jordana Brewster, Adriana Lima and many others.
