Designer Jenny Packham Tweets About Kate Middleton’s Post-Birth Dress
Kate Middleton made her debut as a mom of two outside the Lindo Wing Saturday evening. The Duchess of Cambridge looked stunning in a yellow and white floral knee-length dress, and now we have all the details about the outfit thanks to designer Jenny Packham.
Jenny Packham is a favorite designer of Kate, who has worn dresses by the British fashion designer on multiple occasions. Although details about the dress were initially scarce, Packham took to Twitter to share some information about Kate’s post-baby look:
As fans of the Duchess of Cambridge know, she’s so fond of Packham’s designs that she sometimes recycles them for other events. In December, she wore an off-the-shoulder dark blue gown for a gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She previously wore the dress on two other occasions -- first wearing the outfit in October 2013 for the 100 Women in Hedge Funds dinner. A couple of months later in February 2014, she donned the dress again for an event for the National Portrait Gallery.
Kate Middleton gave birth to her second child, a baby girl, on Saturday at 8:34 a.m. GMT. The whole family is now at Kensington Palace adjusting to life with the new addition. No name for the royal baby girl has been announced yet.
