Destiny 2 Seventh Seraph Revolver
The Seventh Seraph Officer Revolver Destiny 2

KEY POINTS

  • The Seventh Seraph Officer Revolver drops from the final encounter of the Spire of the Watcher dungeon
  • The gun can roll with perks like Redirection and Vorpal Weapon
  • Hunters with the Lucky Pants exotic can maximize this weapon's damage output

The Seventh Seraph Officer Revolver is one of the newly-reprised firearms in "Destiny 2" Season 19 alongside its bigger Seventh Seraph Carbine cousin and the IKELOS weapons from the "Warmind" expansion.

Although this 180RPM hand cannon doesn't have a perk pool that's as notable as Rose or any of the other weapons released this season, it has one very specific use case that makes it an excellent choice in PvE, especially when paired with a certain build.

Where to get the Seventh Seraph Revolver

As of mid-Season 19, the Officer Revolver can only be obtained by beating the final boss of the Spire of the Watcher dungeon. This means players will need to either own the deluxe edition of the "Witch Queen" or the dungeon key for this year.

Previously, Seventh Seraph weapons were farmable at the Dares of Eternity, where they were part of the activity's rotating loot pool. The current item rotation currently features only gear from "Season of the Chosen" and "Season of the Hunt." This may be subject to change in the future.

Spire of the Watcher's last boss, Persys, can be very annoying to deal with. Not only does it deal extreme damage at all ranges, but fighting it also involves a somewhat time-consuming mechanic that leaves players vulnerable to failure.

To defeat Persys in as few damage phases as possible, fireteams can try using three Grand Overtures together with a Well of Radiance and some means to inflict the Weakened debuff on the boss. Alternatively, a triple rocket setup with one Witherhoard and Gjallarhorn should suffice.

Seventh Seraph Officer Revolver God Roll

As a PvE-focused gun, the Seventh Seraph Revolver's best damage-dealing perk combo is Appended Mag, Fourth Time's The Charm and Vorpal Weapon.

This is especially powerful when used by a Hunter with Lucky Pants. The high magazine size paired with FTTC's ammo regeneration means players will be able to make full use of the Illegally Modded Holster trait on the pants without having to reload.

Lucky Pants and Vorpal Weapon are great for shredding big bosses, though the latter can be swapped for Redirection for bigger burst damage, which is better against Champions and other elite enemies.
