'Destiny 2' Season 19: Anti-Boss Loadouts For Raids And Dungeons
KEY POINTS
- Weakened Clear is a top-tier mod for debuffing tough targets
- Monochromatic Maestro is better for general use than Weakened Clear
- Solar subclasses can make more effective use of Monochromatic Maestro
The new artifact mods for "Destiny 2: Season of the Seraph" features some of the most useful and borderline overpowered options players have been presented with since the Particle Deconstruction era in Season 15, except the current meta leans more toward Grenade Launchers than Fusion Rifles.
Here's a boss-killing loadout that everyone can use as well as a few suggestions for each of the classes.
Priority Mod Unlocks
Season 19's magic comes from the Weakened Clear mod, which increases the damage bosses take when they get hit by a Grenade Launcher shot. It also reloads all stowed weapons, making it the perfect choice for a quick swap loadout.
The second priority unlock is Monochromatic Maestro. This one works like the Golden Tricorn perk except it only requires players to hit enemies with elemental abilities instead of scoring kills.
Both of these mods are on the final column of the artifact, so it may take a while before they can be unlocked.
Weapons
Grenade Launchers with the Auto-Loading Holster perk are amazing when paired with Weakened Clear. Witherhoard is particularly powerful as long as its catalyst is equipped. Debuff a boss with a grenade and immediately swap to a different weapon.
One of the strongest weapons players can pair Weakened Clear launchers with is the Cataclysmic LFR from the Vow of the Disciple raid since it can roll with the Bait and Switch perk, which increases the weapon's damage by 35 percent after dealing damage.
Alternative Linear Fusion Rifles include the Taipan-4FR, Fire and Forget, Stormchaser, Reed's Regret and Sleeper Simulant.
Players can also go with the Izanagi's Burden and Rocket Launcher combo, though this is best used when someone else in the fireteam has Weakened Clear equipped.
Class Recommendations
Solar subclasses are highly recommended for this build, especially when using Monochromatic Maestro since they all have spammable melee abilities. Consider using the following exotics with melee regeneration builds:
- Titans: Loreley Splendor with Throwing Hammer
- Hunters: Assassin's Cowl with Knife Trick
- Warlocks: Phoenix Protocol with Incinerator Snap
Additionally, make sure to use Font of Might to stack even more damage onto either Cataclysmic or Sleeper simulant for faster boss burns.
For players Weakened Clear, use Void subclasses together with the seasonal Lord Kelvin's Basilisk mod to apply an additional debuff to priority targets.
