‘Detroit: Become Human’ Achieved Another Milestone; Coming To PC Soon
"Detroit: Become Human" the latest game from the French game developer Quantic Dream recently shared that it achieved another milestone. The futuristic action-adventure game officially released in May 2018 has sold 3.2 million copies. The team's most recent achievement was shared by its official account on Twitter.
The game is also releasing on the PC platform to reach the PC gaming segment. "Detroit: Become Human" was released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive action-adventure game. This means the 3.2 million copies sold worldwide are all PS4 copies. Last December 2018, the game publisher announced that the game reached the 2 million units sold threshold. The sales of "Detroit: Become Human" is anticipated to continuously rise considering its imminent release on the PC port later this year.
The action-adventure game from Quantic Dreams will be released as a timed exclusive title on PC via Epic Games Store. A few weeks ago, the game was rumored to release on the PC platform when several gamers found a listing on the game's crack, suggesting that the highly awaited PC version of the game is coming very soon. The rumor started when a fan-lead Twitter page by @qdream_ru, a site that monitors the crack status of video games listed that "Detroit: Become Human" is releasing on PC on October 1.
While the date did not align with what Quantic Dream has in mind, it sure revealed the game's PC port release. The game developer's strategy with its past PC ports is to launch the game alongside the announcement. The French gaming studio has collaborated with Sony for a long time with massive titles.
This includes "Heavy Rain," "Beyond: Two Souls," and "Detroit: Become Human.” But, Quantic Dream's next title release will no longer be a Sony gaming console exclusive but a multi-platform one. "Heavy Rain" was released on PC in June while "Beyond: Two Souls" was released last July.
Just like "Detroit: Become Human," these games are on a timed-exclusive release on the Epic Games Store. "Detroit: Become Human" will be retailed at €39.90. Those who have already purchased its PlayStation 4 version but eager to play the PC version cut get the physical copy of the game's PC version at a much lesser price of $16.30 in Amazon.
