Dev Anand's Cremation Will Take Place on Saturday in London

The last rites of legendary Bollywood actor Dev Anand will be held in London, on Saturday Morning, confirmed his family.

The confirmation came after his wife Kalpana Kartik and daughter Devina landed in London on Wednesday.

Dev Anand's family members revealed to the media that the last rites of the legendary actor will be held at the Putney Vale Crematorium in South London on Dec.10 at 11.40 a.m.

According to media reports, a memorial service at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in West Kensington, London, will be held after the cremation at 2 p.m.

After completing the last rites, the ashes of the legendary actor will be flown back to India and a condolence meeting will be held in Mumbai, organized by Mehboob Studios, where his personal make-up room still exists.

The 88-year-old actor died on Saturday night of a cardiac arrest at his hotel room in London.
