Capcom already hinted that “Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition” on next-gen gaming consoles would allow players to experience significant loading times speed improvement, but a new video may have revealed the game’s loading times on PS5 compared to the loading times of PlayStation 4, Xbox One X and PC.

YouTuber TEEDA recently shared the footage of “Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition” running on various gaming platforms. Earlier, Capcom released a demo showcasing how much the next-gen console would speed things up for games. The content creator took the game’s demo and compared it to several videos showing the game loading on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One X.

The video showcased the insanely fast PS5 loading times compared to other gaming platforms. It took 22 seconds for the PlayStation 4 to run “Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition,” 17 seconds for Xbox One X, 11 seconds for PC and only two seconds for Sony’s next-generation gaming console. The significantly reduced loading times are all courtesy of the new technology housed inside the PS5 and its Solid State Drive (SSD).

Fans and gaming enthusiasts are looking forward to seeing how “Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition” will load on Microsoft’s next-generation gaming console. However, considering how the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S’ load times fare against the Xbox One X, it is safe to say that Microsoft’s upcoming console could match the PS5 when it comes to speed.

In the same vein, several PlayStation 4 titles are reportedly having their load times significantly improved ahead of the arrival of the PS5. A recent patch released to “The Last of Us 2” allegedly cut the game’s loading time to only 14 seconds. Another video revealed that the first-party title “Until Dawn” virtually has zero loading time.

Meanwhile, “Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition” is the new iteration coming to next-generation gaming consoles. Capcom promises that the game would deliver vastly-improved loading times, new features and a fully playable Virgil on gaming consoles. It is slated to release as PS5 and Xbox Series X title in November.
