‘The Devil Is A Part-Timer’ Season 2, Episode 1 Live Stream Details, Plot, Spoilers

After eight years, fans are getting the second season of the popular "The Devil is a Part-Timer!!" anime. Sadao Maou is back flipping burgers and taking orders in modern-day Tokyo.

The official website has released the synopsis of "The Devil is a Part-Timer!!" Season 2, Episode 1. Three folks, Maou, Hanzo Urushihara and Shirou Ashiya, from another world, are living together in a tiny apartment with six tatami mats.

Ashiya is worried about the dwindling budget as they struggle to make money. Meanwhile, the hero from another world, Emi Yusa, visits Suzuno Kamazuki, who is a deputy director.

The first episode of the second season will also show Chiho Sasaki, Maou’s coworker, at the burger joint. She still has a major crush on Maou. After the part-time job, Sasaki will head to Maou’s apartment with him.

“In the parallel of Ente Isla, they were the Overlord and the Hero. But in modern-day Tokyo, they are hardworking employees of the modern world under new identities, Sadao Maou and Emi Yusa. Along with his two confidants at the Overlord's Castle, and a loving high school girl, Chiho, Maou is getting used to life in Japan, while also struggling with the rough economic times. One day, a mysterious little girl appears and the Overlord's Castle is in turmoil!” read the official synopsis of "The Devil is a Part-Timer!!" Season 2, according to Muse Asia.

“The Overlord’s Castle is tasked with raising a child, while visitors from Ente Isla keep coming in. They also have to work to support the people living in the Overlord's Castle, which is a miserable six-mat room! And so the part-timer Overlord's folksy fantasy unfolds once again in the second season of the anime!” it continued.

The opening theme song of "The Devil is a Part-Timer!!" Season 2 is titled "WITH" and is performed by Minami Kuribayashi. The ending theme song is "Mizukagami no Sekai" by Marina Horiuchi.

The anime is based on the original story by Satoshi Wagahara and illustrated by 029. The second season is directed by Daisuke Tsukushi and the series composition is handled by Masahiro Yokotani.

The music of the anime is composed by Ryosuke Nakanishi.

"The Devil is a Part-Timer!!" Season 2, Episode 1 is scheduled to air Thursday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the episode online on Crunchyroll. The episode will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
