‘Devious Maids’ Season 2 Spoilers: Finale Synopsis Revealed Online; Who Will Die In Episode 13?
It’s been a wild ride, “Devious Maids” fans. But according to reports, this rollercoaster of a television show has one last heart-stopping drop before the Season 2 series concludes on Sunday, July 13 at 10 p.m. EDT. And lucky for you, we’ve got all the thrilling scoop on episode 13 you need before getting strapped in to the Lifetime series' most electrifying episode yet.
According to a Season 2 finale promo and a screen shot from episode 13, someone in “Devious Maids” will meet their brutal demise – and we think we know who it is. After Spence and Rosie tie the knot in “Looks Back in Anger,” tragedy will strike in the most horrific way possible. A masked gunman will drive pass the newlyweds and their guests with one thing on their mind: to kill. But it looks like it’s little Barrett, the Powell’s son, who is unable to dodge the bullet.
“Tragedy in Beverly Hills,” the newspaper reads in the tweeted out screen grab of the Season 2 finale. The blurred out headline then faintly reads of death coming to a seven-year-old after a hit and run. Fans speculate that it’s Nick who is responsible for the terrible murder, considering he “finally admits his secret to Marisol” in the season finale. After he confesses, she reportedly urges him to “make things right with all those involved." But it seems that the only thing he’ll attempt to do is to shut Marisol up for once and for all.
The summary for “Look Back in Anger” continues to explain that Carmen will meet a handsome stranger who offers to help her with her music career in addition to Zoila teetering back and forth between her feelings for Pablo and Javier. Although Javier was thought to have just been a fling, Zoila admits to falling for the chef harder than she originally planned.
This news upsets Genevieve who just revealed it is Pablo who is saving her life by giving her his kidney. Zoila is convinced this is a plan to win her back – and she’s not to thrilled.
“Either way. I get a new kidney!” Genevieve responds. “You love Pablo. Javier is just a crush. And you have a daughter with Pablo. And a wonderful history!”
But Zoila raises her eyebrows and rebuttals that Pablo had cheated on her.
“And now he’s saving my life. Cut the man some slack!” Genevieve responds in her typical witty fashion.
Perhaps Zoila’s decision had something to do with the title of episode 13. “Look Back in Anger” is a 1956 play written by John Osborne that tells the story of a love triangle between an “intelligent and educated but disaffected young man of working class origin, his upper-middle-class, impassive wife and her best friend.”
