'Diablo 3': New Trailer For PS3 Released, Borrows From Paranormal Activity [VIDEO]
Blizzard has released a new teaser trailer for "Diablo 3" for PS3. The trailer has the feel of an amateur surveillance camera, in the style of the "Paranormal Activity" movie franchise.
The trailer shows a gamer's PS3, TV and living room seemingly being possessed by an evil presence while he's asleep on his couch. There's also what appears to be a smartphone with a Tyreal-themed case wrapped around it sitting to the left from the viewer's perspective. Tyreal is an archangel central to the "Diablo" story.
The trailer concludes by asking the viewer "Is your PS3 possesssed?" while playing a very brief snippet of the original theme of Tristram, which is the town where the events of the original "Diablo" took place.
"Diablo 3" will be released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 3. It will also be released for PS4 sometime next year. No Xbox One release date has been announced as of yet.
