'Diablo 3' Teaser Site Revealed, Will 'Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls' Expansion Be Announced At Gamescom 2013? [PHOTO]

Throughout the summer, Blizzard Entertainment, developer of the "Diablo" series, has released several videos teasing the release of "Diablo 3" for PlayStation 3. Blizzard, which has launched this teaser site, now might be getting ready to announce the first expansion for "Diablo 3"

The teaser site which features a quote from the Book of Tyreal, which is slated to be released this coming October. It's unclear who the antagonist could be in "Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls," but it's a safe bet that it'll be one of the Prime Evils that have been featured prominently through the history of the "Diablo" franchise. Notice that "Reaper of Souls" is a trademark, as the bottom of the teaser site indicates.

What's more, Blizzard has also trademarked "The Dark Below" recently, though this refers to an area in "World of Warcraft."

When could Blizzard make the "Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls" announcement? Well, they are slated to make a big splash at Gamescom 2013, which will begin next week and run from Aug. 21 to Aug. 25. Blizzard has already acknowledged that they will have a large presence at the event, so we wouldn't be surprised if that's where the big annoucement will be made.

"Diablo 3" will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3 on Sept. 3. "Diablo 3" will also be released for the PS4 sometime next year.
