Diamond Baby Releases Its First Music Video, Album to be Released Soon

Former Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum’s new band Diamond Baby has released its first music video, “The Last Rockstar,” featuring actress Juliette Lewis, Glee’s Jane Lynch, actor Verne Troyer and Motorhead’s leading man Lemmy Kilmister.

The album is, however, to be given a release date but the band is planning a possible tour this fall, the Rolling Stones reported.

Sorum’s newest band has recorded a full album which Sorum has tagged 'Electro-rock'. The drummer, now known as Baron Von Storm, said the entire album is as detailed as the “Last Rockstar.”

I called Verne Troyer and Lemmy and Juliette Lewis and Jane Lynch is my next-door neighbor, so I asked her to do it, Sorum told Steve Baltin of Rolling Stones. She’s so busy, she’s such a huge actress now, but then she said she’d love to do it because she’s never done a rock video or a music video. And when I told her she was going to play my butler, she was cool.

Sorum said that he changed his name because he wanted to enter a different musical area.
