The Powerball drawing on Wednesday was initially estimated to be worth $246 million with a cash value of $157.1 million, but the pot rose to $247.5 million. There were no grand prize winners from the drawing, which means the jackpot will only continue to grow.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday were 6, 42, 45, 47, and 64, with a red Powerball of 18. The Power Play was 3X.

The next Powerball drawing will take place on Saturday. The jackpot is estimated to reach $268 million, with a $171.1 million cash option.

Along with no grand prize winners, there were no instant millionaires in the latest lottery drawing. If ticket holders hit the Match 5, they would have won $1 million each. Players who would have matched five numbers with a Power Play Purchase could have won $2 million.

Despite the lack of million-dollar wins, several smaller monetary prizes resulted from the Wednesday Powerball drawing. There were 10 players who hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball and won $50,000 each. Meanwhile, four players hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball with a Power Play, winning $150,000 apiece.

The other monetary wins from the latest lottery drawing ranged between $4 and $300. A total of 535,185 players won prizes from the Wednesday night Powerball game.

The growing jackpot comes after a man from Florida won $1 million after purchasing a Quick Pick Powerball ticket at a Publix in North Port. As a bonus commission, the business will receive $1,000 for selling the winning ticket.

To win the jackpot, players need to match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination. Five numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is then selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

The chance of winning the Powerball jackpot is 1 in 292.2 million.
