The Wednesday Powerball drawing did not produce any winners for the $274 million jackpot, but there were a few instant millionaires that resulted from the night.

The winning lottery numbers pulled on Wednesday, Aug. 18, were 35, 36, 51, 55, 61, with a red Powerball of 26. The Power Play was 2X.

Even though no one won the $274 million jackpot, a total of three players became instant millionaires. A player from Massachusetts and another from West Virginia hit the Match 5, winning $1 million each.

Meanwhile, one player from Connecticut hit the Match 5 with the 2X Power Play and won $2 million.

There were 13 players who hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball, winning $50,000. However, there were only four players who hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball with the 2X Power Play that won $100,000.

Other players from the night won prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

Since no one claimed the $274 million jackpot with a cash option of $197.7 million, the Saturday, Aug. 21, pull is estimated to be worth $290 million with a cash value of $209.2 million.

Powerball players who are lucky enough to hit the jackpot have the option of receiving their winnings through a one-time lump-sum payment or an annuity. Players who choose the annuity would receive one immediate payment followed by 29 payments. Each payment would increase by 5% every year.

Powerball can be played in 45 states, including Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
