The Powerball drawing on Wednesday night did produce any grand prize winners for the estimated $134.2 million jackpot with a cash option of $75.4 million.

The next drawing, which will take place on Saturday, will see the jackpot grow to $148 million with an $83.1 million cash value.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Wednesday, Aug. 31, were 7, 8, 19, 24, and 28, with a red Powerball of 1. The Power Play was 2X.

Even though there were no grand prize winners, seven players managed to become instant millionaires following the latest drawing.

Players in California, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, New York, and Virginia won the Match 5 and walked away with $1 million apiece. One player in Tennessee ended up hitting the Match 5 with a Power Play Purchase and bumped their winnings up to $2 million.

There were 24 players who managed to hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball and won $50,000 each. Meanwhile, seven players were able to hit the Match 4 with a Power Play purchase, winning a $100,000 prize.

The rest of the monetary winnings from the night ranged between $4 and $200. A total of 349,483 players won prizes from the Wednesday night drawing.

The latest lottery pull comes after a player from Vermont came forward to claim the $366 million Powerball jackpot from the June 29 drawing.

The prize was claimed by API Trust DTD, according to the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery. The state has not revealed the winner's identity or what area they were from.

Powerball jackpot winners must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination. Five of those numbers must be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.

There is a 1 in 292.2 million chance of winning the Powerball jackpot. Powerball drawings take place on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
