The Powerball drawing on Saturday did not yield any grand prize winners, as the jackpot has grown to an estimated $123 million.

The winning lottery numbers drawn on Saturday night were 5, 23, 28, 43, 56, with a red Powerball pull of 19. The PowerPlay was 2X. There were no winners for the $116 million jackpot, but there was one player who became an instant millionaire.

Following the latest Powerball drawing, a player from Texas won $2 million by hitting the Match 5 with the 2X Power Play. Players who would have matched only five numbers would have won a $1 million prize.

A total of 16 players matched four numbers plus Powerball, winning $50,000. Seven players won the Match 4 plus Powerball with the 2X PowerPlay, winning $100,000 each. Other players won prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

On Saturday, the jackpot was estimated at $116 million, with a cash option of $81.4 million. The next Powerball drawing will take place on Monday and be worth an estimated $123 million with a cash value of $87.8 million.

The jackpot has gone unclaimed following the Oct. 5 drawing, which resulted in a player from California winning the $699 million grand prize. It was the seventh-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.

To win the jackpot, a player must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination.

Powerball is played in all states, with the exceptions of Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Nevada, and Utah.

A lottery ticket costs $2. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
