The Powerball jackpot keeps growing, and growing and growing.

After no winning tickets were sold in Saturday night's drawing, the new jackpot has reached an estimated $1.9 billion, with cast option of $929.1 million. The last time the Powerball jackpot was won was Aug. 3 and there hasn't been a winner in 40 drawings.

The Powerball drawing on Saturday was for $1.6 billion, with a cash value of $782.4 million.

The winning numbers Saturday were 28, 45, 53, 56, 69 and a Powerball of 20.

The upcoming jackpot is another record. The largest Powerball jackpot claimed came in 2016 with a record $1.586 billion-dollar amount split amongst winners in California, Tennessee, and Florida.

According to the Powerball website, several smaller prizes were won across the country. Sixteen tickets won $1 million prizes including three from California, Colorado, and Pennsylvania and one each from Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, and South Dakota.

A Powerball ticket costs $2. The lottery is available in 45 states including Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia. Powerball results are streamed online at Powerball.com and broadcast live on local news networks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m. ET.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million. A winner has the option to receive the prize as an annuity spread over 29 years or as a lump-sum payment.
