Did Anyone Win Saturday’s Powerball? November 20 Winning Numbers And Monday’s Jackpot
There was no grand prize winner from the Powerball drawing on Saturday, which was worth an estimated $205 million with a cash value of $148.1 million.
The winning lottery numbers drawn on Saturday, Nov. 20 were 40, 43, 48, 59, 69. The Powerball number was 19 with a Power Play 3X.
Since the jackpot went unclaimed, the next drawing will take place Monday night. The jackpot will grow to an estimated $213 million with a cash payout of $152.9 million.
A player from Georgia won a $1 million prize after matching five numbers. If the player would have hit the Match 5 with a Power Play purchase they would have won $2 million.
There were several other smaller prizes that resulted from the night. Fourteen players matched four of the white ball numbers and the red Powerball, which put their winnings at $50,000.
Meanwhile, there were five players that hit the Match 4 and the red Powerball, winning $150,000 with the help of the Power Play purchase. The rest of the prizes from the night ranged between $4 and $300.
The latest drawing comes after a $1 million ticket from Scottsdale, Arizona expired. A state lottery official suspects the ticket was damaged, destroyed, or lost.
“It’s a relative rarity to see one this big go unclaimed,” John Gilliland of the Arizona State Lottery explained. “People normally pay attention and the larger the ticket, the less likely it is to go unclaimed.”
To win the jackpot, a player must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination. Five numbers need to be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.
The Powerball costs $2 per play. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
