Did Anyone Win Wednesday’s Powerball? March 9 Winning Numbers And Saturday’s Jackpot
The Powerball drawing Wednesday did not produce any grand prize winners for the $99 million jackpot. However, plenty of players were able to snag smaller monetary prizes from the latest drawing.
The winning lottery numbers drawn on March 9 were 13, 22, 34, 51, 67, with a red Powerball of 10. The Power Play was 2X.
Although no one hit the $99 million jackpot, which had a cash value of $67.9 million, one person managed to become an instant millionaire.
A player from New Jersey hit the Match 5 and won $1 million. The player would have taken home $2 million if they would have purchased the Power Play.
In the latest jackpot drawing, one person hit the Match 4 plus red Powerball with a Power Play winning $100,000,
There were also 12 Match 4 plus red Powerball winners who won $50,000. Other players won prizes between $4 to $200 following the latest drawing. A total of 370,110 players won prizes from Wednesday night.
Since there were no grand prize winners from the Powerball drawing, the jackpot has now grown to $112 million with a cash value of $76.8 million.
The latest drawing comes after a player in Arizona won $1 million in the Saturday night drawing. The ticket was purchased at a Circle K convenience store in north Phoenix.
The Powerball costs $2 per play. To win the jackpot, a player must match the six numbers on their ticket to the drawn six-number combination.
Five numbers need to be selected from 1 to 69 for the white balls, and a number is selected from 1 to 26 for the red Powerball.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
