Did Ben Affleck And Lindsay Shookus Split Amid Jennifer Garner Divorce Rumors?

Ben Affleck rang in his 46th birthday earlier this week, but it appears the “Batman” actor’s girlfriend, Lindsay Shookus wasn’t on-hand to celebrate with her famous beau, which sparked break-up rumors.

Affleck, who split from Jennifer Garner in 2015, reportedly began dating Shookus in April 2017. However, the actor was recently spotted leaving dinner with a blonde woman who was not his girlfriend.

The actor was spotted leaving Hollywood hotspot NoBu with Playboy’s Miss May 2018, Shauna Sexton, on Thursday night, according to TMZ.

The “Justice League” star and Shookus haven’t been photographed together since July 22 and the “SNL” staff member wasn’t present during the actor’s birthday on Wednesday. Instead, he was seen having dinner with his kids, Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 6.

The media outlet also noted that a moving truck was seen outside of Affleck’s Pacific Palisades home, but it was unclear whether someone was moving in or out of the residence.

Reports of Affleck and Shookus’ potential break-up comes after sources revealed Garner wasn’t in a rush to finalize their divorce. “Jen wanted to give Ben the time and opportunity to work on his health and sobriety,” an insider told Us Weekly.

After the two announced their split, it was later revealed that the actor struggled with alcohol abuse. Since then, Affleck has reportedly sought help and has also attended Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

“He’s been doing these classes for months. He’s also been spotted outside of meditation classes as well as meetings. He’s focused on being there for those in his life,” a source said.

Although Garner is happy with her husband’s progress, she wants him to make sure his health is stable before they continue with the divorce process. “Jen just isn’t willing to settle the custody issues until she’s 100 percent certain that he’s clean.”

“She’ll wait for him to prove he is taking it very seriously,” the insider added.

Affleck has reportedly been determined to get his life back on track. However, it remains unclear if he and Shookus are still together. Reps for the actor did not respond to TMZ’s request for a comment.
