Charlie Sheen must have confused Jan. 1 for April 1. The “Anger Management” star pranked the Twitterverse Sunday.

The former “Two and a Half Men” star claimed he married his porn star girlfriend Brett Rossi, but apparently it was all just a goof. "This is the house ware M Gorbachev R Reagan did some epic," wrote Sheen, 48.

"It's also where S and I GOT MARRIED! c #RumorMilUhPede," he tweeted. “S” is the nickname for his 24-year-old lover, who also apparently goes by the name “Scottie,” the New York Daily News wrote.

The picture showed the couple sitting on the steps of the former French Consulate in Reykjavik, Iceland. It’s the building where former U.S. President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev met in their 1986 summit.

A rep for Sheen told Us Weekly the actor was merely “kidding around” and added that fans should have “read the hashtag.” Rossi must have the same sense of humor as her beau. When a fan told her she made the local news, the X-rated starlet responded: "hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha epic."

It’s not like it would be a great surprise if the couple wed. Sheen has been married three times before. He wed Donna Peele in 1995, but that only lasted a year. Then he moved on to actress Denise Richards in 2002, but the pair split in 2006. He didn’t stay single for too long. Sheen married for the third time two years later to Brooke Mueller, but they divorced in 2011.
