Did Jamie Sangouthai Overdose On Heroin? Khloé Kardashian Is Lamar Odom's ‘Emotional Rock,' Source Says
Khloé Kardashian is putting her estranged husband Lamar Odom first after his best friend Jamie Sangothai died Sunday from an suspected drug overdose. As Odom mourns the loss of his friend, Kardashian has been an “emotional rock,” Hollywood Life wrote in an exclusive report Monday.
“Khloé tracked Lamar down and has been talking to him. She’s been amazing listening to Lamar‘s pain being a shoulder to cry on. She’s been his emotional rock during this heartbreaking tragedy. Lamar can’t talk without bawling his eyes out. He’s been crying all night and day. It’s so so sad,” the source said.
As Kardashian, 30, comforts her husband, she hopes he will get on the right track too. “Khloe’s hope is that Jamie‘s death is a real wake up call for Lamar. A reminder that life is short and he needs to make the most out of every minute of it. Khloé and Lamar have wasted so much time and energy dealing with his demons. She really hopes Lamar wakes up and starts living life like it’s precious,” the source said.
Kardashian's and Odom’s marriage dissolved after he allegedly cheated on her with multiple women and got involved in drugs 2013. They are still not divorced.
Sangouthai reportedly died of a heroin overdose, TMZ reported. He was rushed to a hospital in downtown Los Angeles after someone called for emergency assistance. He was 37.
Odom hasn’t issued a statement, but Kardashian wrote a Twitter message and posted an Instagram picture of a girl crying. “Life doesn't get easier but I promise you that life will make you stronger,” she captioned the image Monday.
