Did Jenelle Evans And David Eason Break Up? 'Teen Mom' Says It's Time To 'Move On' Following Arrest

Jenelle Evans and David Eason are taking a trip to splitsville -- again.

The news comes after David was reportedly arrested on multiple charges including "assault with a deadly weapon along with a second charge of communicative threats," according to Celebernation. The charges were the result of a heated argument that ensued on June 13 when Jenelle went to her home to gather some belongings and David alleged struck a friend who had accompanied her with a pistol.

Jenelle told the outlet, "I'm shaking and saddened by this, its time for me to move on from this relationship and find happiness for my kids and myself elsewhere."

The former MTV "Teen Mom 2" star, who is reportedly staying with a relative, for the time being, wrote about the incident on Facebook, posting, "I just want to let the public, tabloids, and my fans know that IM OK, IM SAFE AND SO ARE THE KIDS!"

"I'm going to take a few days out to myself to gather my thoughts and focus on what's going on so I won't be on social media much," she added. "I love you all for the support that you all have shown me and I'll be stronger and better than ever soon!"

The news comes not long after the couple's relationship woes trickled onto social media in early June. In a cryptic Facebook post, the 28-year-old mother of three seemed to shade her now estranged husband by writing, "God forbid I hangout with my friends."

David hit back in all caps, "God forbid I get a babysitter and try to have a day with my wife before she flips out and deserted me for her drug addict, whore friend."

In addition to their very telling online activity, the arrest isn't David's first run-in with the law. In January, he had a warrant issued for his arrest after failing to show up at court regarding an incident that occurred in 2018. Add that to the legal woes that involve Jenelle and he's got a bit of a record.

As for Jenelle and David's relationship, this isn't the first time they have split. Most recently, Jenelle announced she was splitting from David in October 2019. The duo reunited after only a few months later, so only time will tell whether or not this is their last breakup.

Together the two have a shared 3-year-old daughter, Ensley. Jenelle has two sons from previous relationships, 10-year-old Jace and 5-year-old Kaiser. David also has another daughter from a prior relationship.
