Did Kate Middleton’s Younger Sister Pippa Steal Her Thunder During Royal Wedding?

There are different opinions about Kate Middleton’s sister Pippa stealing her thunder on her big day.

Middleton picked her younger sister Pippa to be her maid of honor when she tied the knot with Prince William in 2011. However, some royal fans felt that Pippa stole the spotlight from the bride when she was photographed from behind carrying the duchess’ dress.

But not everyone agreed that Pippa stole her big sister’s thunder. Princess Diana’s biographer Andrew Morton spoke about the attention Pippa garnered during the royal wedding.

“Just as William and Harry are very competitive, Catherine and Pippa are very competitive,” Morton said.

“The day was Catherine’s day and Pippa played a significant walk-on part, that was it. I don’t think she stole the show. Pippa had an exotic walk-on part.”

According to royal reporter Emma Cowing, Middleton was jealous of Pippa and always feared of being eclipsed by her because the latter has a more “natural effervescence.” Also, Pippa is more at ease socially and has always been popular with everyone.

Due to Pippa’s bubbly disposition, she was compared to Meghan Markle. Pippa and Prince Harry never dated, but some were convinced that they look good together. Others even felt that Prince Harry married someone very similar to Pippa.

“After the Royal Wedding, there was a discussion there was something romantic between Harry and Pippa, which was incorrect,” Duncan Larcombe said. “But it’s quite funny to think that Harry is now married to somebody who is quite similar in temperament, personality and bubbliness to Pippa.”

In related news, Prince Harry was recently accused of using his mother in a bid to protect his wife, Markle. The Duke of Sussex released a statement saying that he lost Princess Diana and his wife is currently being attacked by the same powerful forces. However, royal fans were not happy because they felt that mentioning Princess Diana for their current predicament is not appropriate.

“Harry and Meghan are using the Diana card is disgusting. History is repeating itself for Harry because of his own actions. Harry has to move on and be a man to stand up for his own choices, actions and life. Don’t blame it all on the media,” one user commented in a post on Twitter.
