Did Kourtney Kardashian Cause Scott Disick’s Split? Sofia Richie Gave Boyfriend ‘An Ultimatum’

Although Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have had their fair share of ups and downs, it appears their feelings for one another weren’t enough to save their relationship. After three years of dating, the couple has split, and it appears Kourtney Kardashian may have been one of the reasons behind the break up.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, who dated Disick from 2006 to 2015, shares three children, Mason, 10, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 5, with her ex-boyfriend. The couple split after Disick was photographed cheating on Kardashian with celebrity stylist Chloe Bartoli.

Although the 37-year-old moved on with Richie, he has publicly expressed his desire to get back together with Kardashian on numerous occasions. Insiders told Us Weekly that his lingering feelings for Kardashian caused issues in his relationship with the 21-year-old model.

“Scott is always going to be in love with Kourtney, and that’s something Sofia has had to face since even before she got serious with him,” the source told the publication.

“It’s been an ongoing thing. It just became more apparent that his family was more of a priority than she was, and his family would be his main priority over anything and anyone.”

The stress of the coronavirus pandemic reportedly caused Richie to see a different side of Disick. “The quarantine has put a spin on things for Scott. He’s always had issues, especially with addiction, and that’s always been a concern on the Kardashians’ end, and Sofia and her family’s end,” the insider said.

“Sofia noticed that he wasn’t doing well and gave him an ultimatum, and in the end, it seemed like Scott was more focused on Kourtney and his kids than her.”

During the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” 10 Year Anniversary Special in 2017, Disick opened up about his complicated relationship with Kardashian despite her blossoming romance with Richie.

“She’s like the only person I’ve ever loved in my life. I think she’s cute and stuff,” he revealed.

Despite Disick’s newly single status, sources have revealed that Kardashian continues to be “hesitant” about getting back together with Disick.
