Miranda Lambert is believed to have called it quits with Anderson East after about two years of being together. The speculation comes from the lack of social media interaction between the two at present.

Us Weekly broke the news Thursday that Blake Shelton’s ex-wife may have already broken up with the R&B musician if their current social media activities are to be considered. The news outlet pointed out that East, 29, has not posted a photo of Lambert, 34, since last November. On the other hand, Lambert’s last photo of East was uploaded in January.

East also hasn’t been liking any of Lambert’s posts since last December. Plus, he does not follow the latter on Instagram. However, it wasn’t established if he did follow her on the photo-sharing platform since the start of their romance. It’s worth noting though that she still follows him on Instagram, and they haven’t unfollowed each other on Twitter.

Given all these unusual social media activities and the fact that they haven’t been seen together for some time now, it is not that surprising that many news outlets and even their fans believe that the couple has quietly terminated their romantic relationship. Neither Lambert nor East has addressed the issue personally, so the real status between the two isn’t known yet.

One of the entertainment and gossip sites that is claiming to have solid information on Lambert and East’s breakup is In Touch Weekly. The publication claims the “Tin Man” songstress was blindsided by the split, citing an anonymous source who allegedly dished to them that Lambert “didn’t see it coming.”

Interestingly, the tabloid also claims to have heard from another insider that it wasn’t really Anderson who initiated the split. The insider justified this by saying that East owes his improved status in the music scene to Lambert. “Dating Miranda took him to the top of the musical A-list,” the insider said.

Lambert and East started dating in December 2015 following the “More Like Her” hitmaker’s divorce from her husband of four years, Shelton. Meanwhile, Shelton is now happily dating his former “The Voice” co-mentor, Gwen Stefani.
