‘Digimon Adventure’ Episode 49 Synopsis, Promo, Spoilers: Millenniumon’s Revival

The resurrection of Millenniumon will be disastrous for the world. Meanwhile, the Chosen Children and their Digimon are grieving the loss of Taichi and War Greymon in "Digimon Adventure" Episode 49. The new episode is titled “The God of Evil Descends, Millenniumon.”

The official preview trailer for Episode 49 is out. The clock is ticking and the children need to overcome their grief and prevent the revival of Millenniumon.

Twitter user Wikimon shared the synopsis for "Digimon Adventure" Episode 49. After Mugendramon's defeat, the Chosen Children and the others are elated. However, things start to go south when some force activates Mugendramon’s final phase. The voice instructs the lifeless Mugendramon to switch the power reactor to overload mode.

Later, Mugendramon powers up and launches himself along with Taichi and War Greymon.

Hikari, Taichi’s sister, cannot believe her brother is gone. Can his friends bring him back and stop Millenniumon’s resurrection?

“Did Taichi and War Greymon really die?..... The Children and their Digimon are grieving. However, as the enormous FAGA, which emerges from a lake, rises toward the top of a nearby mountain range, the time of Millenniumon’s revival is ticking away every moment. Although Yamato, Sora, and Koshiro each take drastic steps towards stopping Millenniumon’s revival, Griffomon attacks Metal Garurumon, and are unable to do so. Meanwhile, Mimi tries to get close to Hikari's heart, who is overwhelmed in despair from losing her brother, somehow," read the synopsis.

"However, Mimi is very sad herself over the loss of Taichi and War Greymon. In the end, can the Children crawl out of their sorrow and stop the impending revival of Millenniumon?” the synopsis continued.

The cast of "Digimon Adventure" anime includes Yuko Sanpei as Taichi Yagami, Yumiko Kobayashi as Koshiro Izumi, Ryoko Shiraishi as Sora Takenouchi, Takeshi Kusao as Jou Kido, Misaki Watada as Hikari Yagami, Marika Kono as Mimi Tachikawa, Megumi Han as Takeru Takaishi, Atori Shigematsu as Piyomon, Chika Sakamoto as Agumon, Junko Takeuchi as Gomamon, Daisuke Namikawa as Yamato Ishida, Mayumi Yamaguchi as Gabumon, Mie Sonozaki as Tailmon, Miwa Matsumoto as Patamon, Takahiro Sakurai as Tentomon and Ryotaro Okiayu as Devimon.
