Discovery+ 'Love Games': '90 Day Fiancé' Spinoff Airs Next Month
“90 Day Fiancé” has a handful of spinoffs moving over to the new streaming platform, Discovery+, and one includes a new game show called “Love Games,” airing on Feb. 8.
Fan favorites from “90 Day Fiancé,” a long-running TLC reality show, will be featured on the game show, and the contestants will be tested to see how well they really know each other.
There’ll be 24 couples that’ll answer various questions about their significant other, and whichever couple knows the most about one another will be crowned the winner.
A few questions that could be asked include, “What’s something your partner thinks they’re good at, but really they aren’t?” and “If you could date anyone from the 90 Day Fiancé universe other than your partner, who would it be?” according to Deadline.
For this first season, the competition will include Elizabeth & Andrei, Robert & Anny, Steven & Olga, Larissa & Eric, Blake & Jasmin, Rachel & Jon, Alan & Kirlyam, Stacey & Florian, Kalani & Asuelu, Russ & Pao, Larry & Jenny, Tiffany & Ronald, Anna & Mursel, Kyle & Noon, Angela & Michael, Colt & Debbie, Brett & Daya, Evelyn & David, Darcey & Georgi, Benjamin & Akinyi, Tania & Syngin, Emily & Sasha, Corey & Evelin and David & Annie.
There’ll be four rounds played over the 17-episode season, TheWrap explained.
Round one (eight episodes) will have three couples competing per episode and whoever has the most points at the end will move onto round two. The couple that comes in second place in round one will have to compete in a wildcard round, which will be round two.
Round two (four episodes) will have two couples competing per episode. This is the wildcard round and whoever wins each episode, makes it to round 3.
Round three (four episodes) is the semi-finals. Three couples will compete against each other per episode to try to make it to the finale.
Round four (one episode) is the finale. The four couples will go head-to-head to crown a winner.
The show will be filmed remotely in the couple’s homes this season due to COVID-19.
