In the world of child stars, arrest is not uncommon. In fact, it’s come to be expected.
A number of Disney stars have been charged with various crimes over the years. For some it’s a one-time mistake — for others, it’s a lifestyle. Their crimes range from DUI to manslaughter.
Debby Ryan, shocked fans in 2016, when she was arrested for a DUI in April. At around 11 p.m. PDT on the night of the incident, police responded to a report of a car accident. According to TMZ , Ryan crashed her Audi into a Mercedes Benz, leaving the other driver with minor injuries.
Police administered a field sobriety test and found that Ryan’s blood alcohol content was just .2 over the legal limit of .08. The “Jessie” actress was released from jail on $100,000 bail. She later released a statement apologizing to fans for her involvement in the incident.
