The highly anticipated Dissidia 012 (duodecim) Final Fantasy game will hit the stores in North America on March 22, game publisher Square Enix revealed in a press release today.

This game is released exclusively for the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system.

It's a follow-up to the popular Dissidia Final Fantasy game released back in May 2008.

All the character of Dissidia Final Fantasy will be available on Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. New characters include Lightning, Kain and Tifa.

Dissidia 012 combines the gameplay of fighting games with RPG-based character development and is enhanced with a command-based mode so that true FINAL FANTASY-style combat can be enjoyed through simple commands, said Square Enix.

Dissidia 012 also offers a robust multiplayer mode that includes communication functions as well as group battles in which players can form parties and compete with their friends.
