Could it be love at first twerk? Producer DJ Khaled proposed to rap superstar Nicki Minaj through an MTV video Thursday. The pint-sized artist hasn’t responded, but DJ Khaled has a nice rock waiting for her if she accepts.

"I want to be honest with you. I love you. I like you. I want you to be mine," Khaled said in the video proposal. "The only reason I'm not telling you this face to face is because I know that you're busy ... Nicki Minaj, will you marry me?"

In the clip he stated they have a few things in common: symptoms, to be exact. He said they are “both are suffering from success.” The producer added that by doing it this way, both his fans and her fans, plus his family and her family, would know about his marriage proposition.

The We the Best CEO continued, "[If] you gotta take your time and think about it, I overstand, but I know I have to be here today to let you know how serious I am and how serious this is to me."

According to MTV News, the producer walked into their studio with a 10-karat radiant cut diamond ring from Rafaello & Co. from Manhattan. If that doesn’t say he’s serious, than what will? The ring is said to be valued at $500,000. DJ Khaled added he would have asked for her hand in marriage sooner, but he essentially wanted to save up enough money to buy some bling for his future-wife-to-be, ideally at least.
