Doctor Allegedly Stabs Wife After She Refuses To Have Sex With His Friends

A doctor in India allegedly stabbed his wife with a blade after she refused to have sex with his friends.

In her police complaint, the unidentified woman said she and her husband tied the knot in 2006 and have two children. She said his behavior changed in the last one year when he started inviting his friends into their home in the northern state of Bihar and forced her to "establish physical relations with them." When she refused, he assaulted her, News 18 reported.

"Such a situation arises almost every month," the woman said in the complaint.

She recently learned he was having an affair with another woman, following which he decided to make an "objectionable" video of her with his friends.

"He wants to make my objectionable video film with his friends so that he could make allegations against me and assassinate my character," she said.

On Friday, the two got into an argument about the same, following which he attacked her with a blade, leaving her with wounds on her chest and hand. She was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

The police said they have filed a complaint against the victim’s husband. He faces attempt to murder charges. Meanwhile, the accused’s father filed different complaints against the victim’s brother, alleging that he had beaten his son.

"The victim has sustained stab wounds on her chest and hand. We have also received complaints from the victim’s father in-law. The matter is being investigated from all angles," Sanjay Kumar, investigating officer of this case, told Indian news agency IANS.

The accused was not taken into custody as of Sunday.

Earlier this year, a man in the western state of Maharashtra bludgeoned his wife to death in front of their 2-year-old son after she refused to have sex with him. The man started accusing his wife of having an extra-marital affair after she refused to have sex with him. The following morning, the accused hit his wife multiple times in the head with a marble kitchen utensil before banging her head on the door several times, killing her on the spot.
