The trailer of "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" shows an intense conversation between Doctor Strange (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wanda Maximoff (played by Elizabeth Olsen).

In the two minutes, 17-second trailer, which was dropped Sunday, Wanda tells Doctor Strange how everyone discriminated against her after breaking the rules. "You break the rules and become the hero. I do it and I become the enemy. That doesn't seem fair," she said.

The trailer starts with Strange revealing that he sees the same dream every night and wakes up gasping. Strange's sidekick, Wong (played by Benedict Wong), tells Strange that he "cannot control everything," before noting that he "opened a doorway between universes and we don't know who or what will walk through it."

In the trailer, Strange can also be seen wearing handcuffs and a mystery voice says, "We should tell him the truth." Fans suspect it was "X-Men" star Patrick Stewart's voice.

One fan shared on Twitter a photo of Wanda bleeding in the trailer and wrote, "How am I supposed to deal with my Patrick Stewart feelings and THIS WANDA all at once?!"

Fans seem very excited about the battle between Wanda and Captain Marvel.

"I'm hyped for this battle between Wanda and Captain Marvel. Two extremely powerful heroes fighting is always sick," one user wrote.

The first trailer of "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness" was dropped in December when "Spider-Man: No Way Home" was released.

The trailer gave a glimpse of an evil version of Doctor Strange and supervillain Baron Mordo. Fans are now excited as the new trailer shows Stewart's cameo and Wanda's evil side.

"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" is slated to release in theaters on May 6. The movie is helmed by director Sam Raimi.

The first installment of the franchise, "Doctor Strange," was released in 2016. No individual movie based on this character was released after that. However, Strange appeared in other Marvel movies like "Avengers: Infinity War," "Avengers: Endgame" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home."
