Does Chris Brown Feel Betrayed After Karrueche Tran Filed Restraining Order? ‘Party’ Singer Hints At Letting Go On Instagram

It’s no secret that the past few weeks have been rough on Chris Brown’s public image. Not only did the “Party” singer back out of his boxing match with rapper Soulja Boy, but ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran filed a restraining order against him and it looks like the artist is feeling betrayed.

On Tuesday, Brown posted a photo of a quote on Instagram that described why certain people are no longer in his life. “God says they reason why some people have turned against you and walked away from you without reason…has nothing to do with you,” the quote read.

The singer could feel as if Tran turned against him by filing the restraining order forbidding him from coming in contact with her. On Feb. 21, news broke that the model filed legal documents admitting that she felt her life was in danger because not only did the star attack her but she alleges he also threatened to kill her.

Shortly after news of the restraining order surfaced, Brown made a video telling fans not to listen to things that they were hearing about him. “Whatever people on the other side doing, let them do what they doing,” he said in the video. He added that he doesn’t know what they are talking about but didn’t mention anyone by name.

“They would only hinder you at the next level because they have already severed their purpose in your life. Let them go and keep moving,” the Instagram quote continued. In the video Brown shared, he didn’t fazed by the legal documents filed against him.

Tran told a judge Brown “pushed me down the stairs” and “punched me in my stomach twice” during their relationship.

“Greater is coming your way, says the lord,” the quote concludes. It seems like, despite the drama with his ex-girlfriend, Brown is hoping for a bright future.
