Donald, Melania Trump Awkwardly Pull Away After Holding Hands, Spark Marital Problem Rumors

Donald Trump and Melania Trump's divorce rumors once again heightened following the couple’s appearance at a football game this week.

Before the national anthem was sung, the POTUS was spotted holding hands with the FLOTUS. Despite the couple’s distant body language, the Trumps showed a united front at the football match.

But upon closer inspection, it becomes evident that President Trump flicked his wife’s hand out of nowhere before he fixed the buttons on his coat. On Twitter, netizens interpreted the gesture as a sign of the couple’s impending divorce.

However, some netizens are convinced that it was the FLOTUS who let go of her husband’s hand, and the POTUS was mocked for it.

“[Melania] appears to pull her hand away. He fixes his jacket as a gesture to re-establish control of his own hands,” Twitter user @owlychick said.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that divorce rumors plagued Trump and his wife. The POTUS’ former director of communications Omarosa Manigault Newman said that it’s only a matter of time before the FLOTUS files for divorce.

If Trump won’t get re-elected, it is possible that the couple’s divorce would speed up. Some netizens agree with the “Big Brother Celebrity” alum.

“Once Donald is out of the office for good, Melania will divorce him and marry the real man that is waiting for her in New York. Now, she is just doing what she knows best, selling herself for profit,” Twitter user @mianflodi said.
