Donald Trump Claims Humiliating ‘Orange Face’ Photo Was Edited; Netizens Prove It Isn’t
KEY POINTS
- Donald Trump called his orange face photo fake
- The POTUS's critics proved that he's lying
- Donald Trump claims his controversial spray tan photo was edited
Donald Trump just broke his silence on his viral photo showing off his extremely orange face. White House photographer William Moon uploaded the snap on his Twitter account, and it immediately captured the attention of netizens.
In the picture, the POTUS’ hair is blown up by the strong wind. And since his hair isn’t covering parts of his face, it shows that the upper part of Trump’s head is white, while the rest of his face looks orange.
Melania Trump’s husband was accused of wearing orange makeup and wig by some netizens. But the president was quick to deny the allegations. In fact, Trump said that his viral orange face photo was edited.
“More Fake News. This was photoshopped, obviously, but the wind was strong and the hair looks good? Anything to demean!” he wrote alongside a copy of his controversial pictures.
However, the POTUS’ denial was branded a lie by some critics, and it caused them to mock him even more. In fact, some netizens also claimed that the exact same photo has been sold to Getty Images. And if it is edited, the company wouldn’t have otherwise purchased it.
“The country would love to see what you look like au naturale. What do you think?” Twitter user @Amy_Siskind said.
“It’s not photoshopped. You can buy it in Getty Images for a cool $499,” Twitter user @RobertMaguire_ said.
“Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound?” Twitter user @itsJeffTiedrich said.
“It’s real… Unless Getty is a fake photo service now,” Twitter user @NumbersMuncher said.
“You are actually triggered by a pic and you are the commander in chief, what the [expletive]?” Twitter user @davidweissman said.
“The fact that you’re so thin-skinned that you’re using your platform as POTUS to respond to a picture demonstrates your fickleness, narcissism, and the fact that you’re an egomaniacal sociopath,” Twitter user @TalbertSwan said.
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that Trump was accused of using orange makeup on his face. Former White House staff Omarosa Manigault claimed that the POTUS uses a tanning bed. However, the White House has since denied the allegations.
