Donald Trump is confident that his daughter Ivanka would win if she were to run for president.

In an interview with The Atlantic a few months back, the POTUS proudly talked about his first daughter. According to Elaina Plott, she tried to secure an on-the-record interview with Ivanka to talk about her role in the White House and life in Washington, D.C. However, to her disappointment, she kept on declining the invitations.

One day, she received a call from Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, saying that the president was free to talk about his daughter. During their interview, Ivanka popped in to remind her dad of the inaugural session of the program’s advisory board that was scheduled the following day. The first daughter was astonished to find them because she forgot that they were having an interview.

Upon seeing his daughter, Donald opened up about seeing Ivanka as his heir apparent. In fact, he believes that she has a good chance of winning the presidential race.

“If she ever wanted to run for president, I think she’d be very, very hard to beat,” Donald said of his daughter.

Donald also took pride of the millions of jobs she created. He considered Ivanka successful at what she does.

The POTUS also described Ivanka as a “natural diplomat.” He believed that she would do great at the United Nations. Plott asked the POTUS why he did not nominate Ivanka for the post and the president said that he didn’t do it because the public would consider it “nepotism.”

Donald added that he considered Ivanka for the World Bank. He was confident that his daughter would do well with it because “she’s very good with numbers.” In addition, the president praised his daughter for her calm nature and tremendous presence when she walks into a room.

“She’s got a great calmness … I’ve seen her under tremendous stress and pressure. She reacts very well—that’s usually a genetic thing, but it’s one of those things, nevertheless,” the proud dad added.

Meanwhile, some felt that Ivanka is not qualified to represent the Americans. According to her critics, she lacks diplomatic experience or knowledge of protocol.

However, many supported Ivanka’s Child Tax Credit this year because for them it is just appropriate. According to them, no families are affected because the changes are only for single individuals and those couples without children. It also does not apply to people with disabilities.
