Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr., the two eldest children of former President Donald Trump and his late ex-wife Ivana Trump, have testified in New York Attorney General Letitia James' investigation into the Trump Organization.

According to CNN, the two siblings testified separately in a probe about whether Trump, his associates and his organization inflated the value of certain properties for financial, insurance and tax benefits. Trump Jr. testified last Thursday, while Ivanka testified on Wednesday.

Unlike their brother, Eric, and Allen Wisselberg, the former CFO of the Trump Organization, who declined to testify by citing their Fifth Amendment rights, neither of the two invoked that right. The former president himself is set to testify later this month.

There is both a civil and criminal investigation ongoing into the matter but the AG said she found significant evidence that the organization misrepresented the value of certain assets. Trump previously called James' investigation a "witch hunt" that is politically motivated because she is a Democrat.

Trump, along with those previously or currently associated with him or his business, fought James’ subpoenas at every turn. So far, Trump faced fines of $110,00 per day for failing to turn over documents. Other firms involved with Trump’s business during the time in question also faced legal consequences, including Cushman & Wakefield.

These matters are far from the only legal battles that the Trump family is fighting. The Select Committee to Investigate the Jan. 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol also heard testimony from Ivanka. The committee asked her about what her father was up to in the days leading up to, the day of, and the days after the insurrection.

Ivanka testified that Trump omitted parts of his speech on the day of the insurrection that condemned the perpetrators of the attack.
