Donald Trump Jr.'s girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, has recovered after she tested positive for COVID-19 last month and will be hosting fundraising events in the Hamptons.
Guilfoyle will be gracing a number of events in the Hamptons over the weekend, Page Six reported. Among the events she will be hosting is the $580,600-per-couple fundraiser on Saturday that will also be attended by President Donald Trump.
Singles can attend the event for $250,000. Other events start on Thursday including a $2,800-per-person reception and a $50,000-per-couple dinner.
Guilfoyle tested positive for coronavirus in July. According to an insider, she and her boyfriend attended a packed party that looked "as if COVID had never happened." The insider said about 100 individuals attended the bash and they didn't wear masks.
The party was hosted by Hamptons builder Joe Farrell. A source close to Trump Jr. said the couple only stayed for about an hour and it was an outdoor event held on the building's rooftop.
A top official with the Trump Victory Finance Committee, which she heads, told CNN that she was immediately isolated when they learned that she tested positive for the virus.
"After testing positive, Kimberly was immediately isolated to limit any exposure," committee chief-of-staff Sergio Gor said.
"She's doing well, and will be retested to ensure the diagnosis is correct since she's asymptomatic but as a precaution will cancel all upcoming events. Donald Trump Jr. was tested negative, but as a precaution is also self-isolating and is canceling all public events."
Trump Jr. also previously gave an update about his girlfriend's condition on Instagram. He said that she was doing great while recovering from the virus.
“Guys thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts. @kimberlyguilfoyle is doing great! Wishing the princess a speedy recovery!” Trump Jr. wrote on his Instagram account.
“And I kinda sorta look forward to waiting on her hand and foot. #NurseDon #covid19.”
