Donald Trump Lambasted For ‘Lying’ About Michelle Obama’s Whereabouts; POTUS ‘Jealous’ Of Obamas?

Donald Trump was recently accused of lying about Michelle Obama’s whereabouts.

Last week, the POTUS claimed that Barack Obama’s wife was part of a last-minute campaign trip to Michigan three years ago. But CNN reporter Daniel Dale said that this wasn’t the case.

On Twitter, Dale called out the president for falsely claiming where and when the former first lady campaigned in. Dale also accused Trump of saying that Michelle went to Georgia with Oprah Winfrey for Stacey Abrams when she didn’t.

Immediately after, Trump critics flocked to Dale’s Twitter account to show their support to the reporter. They also accused the POTUS of being jealous of the Obamas.

“My respect and appreciation for you are beyond words. Got to be tough listening to Trump’s lies day after day. I give you the Nobel or whatever highest distinction for journalism. Superb,” Twitter user @TrueloveJanet wrote.

“Keep on calling out his lies. America deserves to know he never tells the truth,” Twitter user @NCattman said.

“So, hopefully, the media is pointing out this lie every time he makes it. There’s a point where people will start to look for the ticker telling the truth on the screen more than listen to his words,” Twitter user @orange_parrot19 said.

“Trump shouldn’t be allowed to take Michelle Obama’s name. She is everything he or his spawn can never ever be. She is also by the magnitude of orders, the better Obama,” Twitter user @aashi__ said.

As of late, Michelle has not yet responded to Trump’s recent claims. But the former first lady made headlines for receiving a very high-ranking accolade to mark her achievements this year.

More specifically, Michelle ranked third on Forbes’ list of highest-paid authors for 2019 following the release of her memoir, “Becoming.” The book reportedly sold 10 million copies across Forbes’ timeframe, and it also became the bestselling book of 2018.

The ex-FLOTUS reportedly earned $36 million from her latest venture.
