- Donald Trump was mocked for still learning how to read
Donald Trump recently sparked speculations that he’s still learning how to read during his engagement at this year’s Daytona 500.
During his lengthy speech, the POTUS read his statement off of a piece of paper. A video showed that Melania Trump’s husband struggled to read the text. In fact, he was also spotted using his finger to follow the words and make sure that he would read them correctly.
Political Flare journalist Andrea Jefferson mocked the president for looking like a kindergarten who is just learning how to read. The journalist also alleged that Trump’s speech was printed in font size 2000 because he’s too vain to wear the reading glasses that he obviously needs.
Some netizens also mocked the POTUS after seeing how he struggled to read his speech as NASCAR by calling him embarrassing. Others claimed that he could be suffering from dementia because he can’t read simple words properly.
“The Orange Carnival Barking Clown is too vain to wear his required eyeglasses and he probably has words written an inch and one-half high,” Twitter user @RichfordLynn said.
“He can’t remember ‘God bless our military?’ He has to read it?” Twitter user @argus_constant said.
“I’ve literally never seen anyone older than 9-year-olds read this way,” Twitter user @briantylercohen said.
“I don’t remember seeing a president do this. Not being able to discuss a subject without reading lower than a first-grader,” Twitter user @rhonda_harbison said.
“He’s on a quick decline… each day he gets worse. What could be the cause?” Twitter user @william08678220 said.
“Just like my son except he was six at that time,” Twitter user @micheleahern said.
“Dementia speech,” Twiter user @is_rufus said.
“The way he’s degenerating. I fully expect his next set of speech notes to be in a scratch and sniff format,” Twitter user @JRobbo said.
“Dyslexia,” Twitter user @lheartney said.
Twitter user @wildwildzombie said that she is dyslexic and doesn’t think that this is Trump’s condition. Rather, the POTUS could be suffering from dementia.
