Donald Trump Los Angeles Campaign Rally Live Stream: How To Watch The Event Aboard The USS Iowa
Update 9:47 p.m. EDT: Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump promised veterans better health services Tuesday at his campaign rally aboard the USS Iowa in Los Angeles. The speech came one day before he will participate in the second GOP debate at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California.
"You are going to get the greatest services of any veterans in any country," Trump told the crowd. The crowd cheered in response, but outside of the rally protests rumbled. Protesters could be heard calling on Californians to not support Trump following his comments about immigrants from Mexico, ABC News reported.
Original story: Just one day ahead of the second Republican presidential debate, Donald Trump will deliver a speech that addresses foreign policy while aboard the USS Iowa on Tuesday in Los Angeles.
Trump also plans to touch upon issues related to veterans -- a group that he has said he is committed to in his campaign, despite remarks that suggest that he may be out of touch with them. The Republican front-runner drew fire from veterans after he claimed his military academy education better prepared him for the military than actual service.
The speech was scheduled to start at 7:40 p.m. EDT. Watch Trump's remarks here live:
