Donald Trump was recently criticized due to his refusal to undergo a yearly physical exam because he’s too busy when he has so much time to play golf.
According to Political Flare, the POTUS spent the entire weekend playing his favorite sport while the entire world is panicking over the coronavirus outbreak.
“For Donald Trump, coronavirus is just one more excuse to attack Democrats and the media. It sure isn’t a reason to interrupt his golfing. Trump spent the weekend golfing in Florida…” they said.
Shortly after, the president launched into Monday morning by tweeting about the Fake News Media and accusing them of spreading false claims about the outbreak.
The publication also revealed that while Trump was golfing in Florida, top officials met in the Situation Room in what has now become a daily briefing and strategy session amid the ongoing crisis.
According to The Washington Post, Trump’s absence was actually quite beneficial to the daily briefing and strategy sessions. After all, the president has been convinced that the situation was manufactured hurt him politically.
Meanwhile, The Week is questioning why Trump still hasn’t undergone a routine physical exam when it’s usually scheduled during the first two months of the year.
Melania Trump’s husband previously said that he’s so busy that he can’t do it but he has so much time to play his favorite sport. The POTUS’s last planned physical exam was in February 2019. At that time, Dr. Sean Conley said that the POTUS was in very good health overall.
But an entire year has already passed and it is unclear if he is still in good health. Just recently, Jerome Adams, a surgeon, told Jake Tapper on CNN that Trump is much healthier than he is considering he is just in his 40s.
Adams made the surprising comment while talking about Trump being vulnerable to the coronavirus.
“But speaking of being at risk, the president, he sleeps less than I do and he’s healthier than what I am,” he said.
